Coach Barker, a proud alumnus of Whitehall-Yearling High School, was named head football coach in 2025. He brings his passion for the game and deep connection to the program. A former Division III First Team All-State selection and Defensive Player of the Year, Barker was a key player for the Rams during his high school career, known for his leadership, toughness, and football IQ.

 

After high school, Barker continued his football journey at Ashland University, further honing his skills and gaining valuable experience that has shaped his approach to coaching.

 

Now leading the Rams, Barker is dedicated to revitalizing the program by focusing on player development, a strong team culture, and community engagement. His coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, accountability, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that every player who comes through the program is prepared for success both on and off the field.
